ConceptImaging procedure
DescriptionTo record the technical specifications of an imaging examination carried out.
UseThis archetype is normally used in the SLOT ‘Structured technical procedure’ of the parent archetype OBSERVATION.imaging_exam_result. However, it can also be used in another imaging archetype to record the technical specifications of the imaging procedure performed.
MisuseNot to be used to record imaging findings. Not to be used to record a patient's clinical information.
PurposeTo record the technical specifications of an imaging examination or a series of imaging examinations performed.
