ARCHETYPE Skeletal age (openEHR-EHR-OBSERVATION.skeletal_age.v0)

ARCHETYPE IDopenEHR-EHR-OBSERVATION.skeletal_age.v0
ConceptSkeletal age
DescriptionAn estimate of biological age by assessing the degree of maturation of an individual's bones.
UseUse to record an estimate of biological age by assessing the degree of maturation of an individual's bones. The skeletal age can be determined by several different methods including but not limited to: Hand-wrist radiograph, Cervical vertebrae radiograph, Frontal sinus radiograph, Midpalatine suture.
PurposeTo record an estimate of biological age by assessing the degree of maturation of an individual's bones.
